    Genetic Desirability
I was just wondering if someone could explain to me why a pastel het ghost/hypo would be more desirable and expensive than an orange ghost/hypo?

because you can make pastel orange ghosts with it...... you cant make that with just an OG

The way I see it, is the only reason the Pastel het Hypo would be more expensive is because it's carrying 2 different genes in it and it has a chance to make a visual double gene animal - a Pastel Orange Ghost, when bred to another Orange Ghost. Whereas the Orange Ghost will only create more Orange Ghosts, unless you bred it to other codoms, then you'll get hets.

So basically the Pastel is one breeding generation ahead of the normal Orange Ghost, hence the possibility of a bigger price tag and the more desire to have one.

well also het ghost female are about 50-75 bucks were a female pastel is over 100. so even just looking at value, one snake has more expensive genes than the other.
