Below 800grm Male Bred ? Females Succesfully?
I was just wondering how many females younger males (Under 800grms) have successfully bred? Succesfully being that the female layed a clutch of let's go with 80% viable eggs that hatched out. Also if you ended up pulling the male to keep his health in check.

realy depends on the male.. not just size, but how he eats and acts...

As long as he has sperm plugs, he should be able to breed successfully!

Yeah as long as he keeps eating, put him in whenever he shows interest and sperm plugs.

I was just trying to get an average of how many females a young male could possible breed. I figure a younger male wouldn't be able to handle as many girls as a more mature one. I know one of the males I'm getting for my girls but was wondering if I should get a back up. Just thinking ahead and planning out my budget.

iv got a ~475 gram male that's locked up 2 times already to 1 female, he has plugs

and a ~510g male that's popping plugs and locked up once for sure but most likely twice to a different female.

no eggs yet, but they locked up the first time we paired them

both of these guys have 4 girls planned to each of them, last year we bred a >1000g male to 8 females. i think 6 of em laid eggs? but the other two weren't his fault, they just didn't want to lay lol

You will have to let me know the outcome of these two males then my females are far from being ready. I am the kind that plans, plans some more and then at the last minute when I go to make the purchase of the male I will probably end up with two just to make sure he could handle that many. That is probably the way I will go just so I end up with different hold backs, which the wife will love me for lol.

I would get two males! If one doesn't do the deed, the other one should. It just betters your odds!
