You're not going to find a breedable weight morph female for under $1000. You may find a normal adult female for about $80 to $100 and then a pastel male for about $100.

I got a proven normal female last weekend for $95. Our intent is to breed to our 2yr old spider to get some spider hatchlings for next year. Your best bet might be to go a similar route - get a normal adult female and a codominant morph male. That will all but guarantee you'll get some morph out of the breeding, and you still have enough time yet where you can get an underweight male and probably still have him ready to breed within the next couple of months.

Keep in mind that provens are more expensive than unprovens but they're less of a gamble, and that males are less expensive than an identical female...base your budget on that.

X2 maybe a adult normal female and a pastel male would be your best bet... or maybe get 2 adult hets if you can get a good deal... what show are you going to?:D

Research the morphs before you go - you don't want to end up getting a normal and something like a recessive morph because you won't get any morphs out of the breeding. Dominant morphs are your friend here unless your normal happens to be het for something (but of course it'll cost you more).

Not for $220 your not. Alteast not breeding or even juvi's.
Best your going to get with that price tag would be a adult female and a baby pastel male. Then next season you can do something.
