    Weight loss during breeding season
So I have a female normal, she used to weigh 1545 grams. Her last meal was Oct 8th, 2010. She now weighs around 1380 grams. Is this normal for them to lose this much weight during season? I do offer her food on a weekly basis, but she isn't interested. What do you guys think?

No its not normal to lose that much weight in this short of time.

Do You keep records of pee, poops at all?

Weight loss like that in a month could lead to internal parasites taking away from her nutrients.

Few dosings of flagyl either way would fix the feedings as its a food stimulant and also kills many types of parasites. When given proper dosage it will do no harm to snake.

I have been keeping records of all her pees, and poops. She did give me a weird light lime green poop once. What would be the dose for the flagyl?

Flagyl is Vet issued only, you would need to take snake to vet or a fresh fecal sample in and they will run tests. The vet will give you all the dosing you would need.

Your sure it was green poop as sometimes their urine mixed in will cause some weird mixtures. Either way with that weight loss its time to take in a fresh fecal or snake to vet for internal parasite testing.

I'm sure it was poop unfortunately. It did only happen just the one time. Her next poop was a huge poop and very much normal. I will heed your warning and have her feccal checked for parasites. Thank you. :D
