My first snake!

Hey all,
As I'm sure you can tell, I'm new to the forum and new to snakes in general. My wife and I were looking at a corn snake, but ended up with a pastel BP. Welcome! I'm new to the forum and the Morph world of BP's! I got a Black Pastel to get me back into the Snake world! Your Pastel is beautiful!

The first is always the most special. I also started out with a ball python, then I got a boa and then a northern pine snake. I love them all!

You'll have so much fun getting to know your BP and its behavior, and then there is a trust cycle that has to be built going both ways. It's a really special time, enjoy it!

Thanks all! Addiction is right! After only a few days I was excited at the thought of breeding and my next snake! For now though I think I'll enjoy this little guy and get to know snakes and how to raise them.

I do have a question about your sigs! I notice that most of you have 0.3 normal, 0.1.0 black pastel etc. What exactly does that mean?

Your question about the signature? It denotes what sex the snake/other animals are:
first is male, second is female and third means it's unsexed.

So if you have 6 snakes with 2 of them male, 3 female and 1 unsure it would read 2.3.1
