difference between indian pythons and burmese pythons...
So I owned a couple burms over the yrs an now I have what I believe is a hurl but had ppl say maybe an Indian. He is by far the brightest burms I've owned an has very distinct pink stripes on his head... does anyone know if there are recognizable differences in the two. I will try to get pics of mine on here.
    Thanks in advance

Colour, size and pattern are all diffrent. The pink stripe is just a "high quality" mark on regular burms. I rarely see indians with a dark pink jaw line. Indians have more of a puzzle pattern(like het granites) and are more of a true brown with earthy tans. But its hard to say without pics of him.

Looks like a burm. Need a pic of the eye and the ocular scales.

It looks like a Burm to me.

Indian pythons usually stay smaller as adults and they usually have a faded triangle on the top of the head. Its hard to get pure Indian pythons for a number of reasons, but a lot of them have been interbred with Burms over the years. The blood gets all muddied up.
