    Fed Ex Confusion?
    Hey all,

I have little ones that are close to be going out the door, and I called Fed Ex to become certified, and they keep telling me they dont ship reptiles. Am I missing the boat here? I know there are other ways to ship but I am I lost thinking that I have seen many posts discussing how to become a Fed Ex Certified to ship your reptiles? Ty for any help:)

The run of the mill, general FedEx employee has NO IDEA that we can become certified to ship reptiles. This includes the people at the "FedEx Staffed Location" where we often have our snakes held for pick-up. This is a constant worry for me. I once had a snake almost sent back. They really should communicate this to their employees.

If you have already opened a Fedex account, find out who your account representative is and contact him or her. Hopefully they will be (should be) more knowledgeable about Fedex policies and procedures. If by chance you haven't opened a Fedex account, do that first.
