Yet another Question (shed over eyes)
I have a little piebald female that is almost 3 months she had her first shed with me and as I tired to keep it moist for her to shed she didnt shed until I placed her in the shoe box of water trick as told on this forum. as it worked well and all of her shed nicely and she seemed to enjoy the wash cloth rub down I still am unable to get all off her head and one eye I dont want to hurt her eye or her head ( she does allow me to touch it kinda seems to like it) does anyone have any ideas on how to get the shed off her eye without hurting her or damaging her eye?
Re: Yet another Question (shed over eyes)
I would say just let her crawl through a wet towel every couple of days and it should eventually come off. There is a way to try and remove stuck eyecaps with Q-Tips, but you would need to use the "Search" function to find the threads with the exact procedures, and I think it's mostly used when there are multiple layers of stuck eyecaps. Usually the wet towel will work or it will come off with the next shed, as long as the humidity is good...

Thanks I will keep letting her go through wet towels, see how that goes I keep working on the humidity but find it hard to keep at at 50% and up, I am going to try the wet towel that someone told about on one of the threads
