    We were cleaning cages, and found one of my male pastels dead, he had been refusing food the past month, showed no signs of illness. He was handsome fella :tears:

    I'm sorry for your loss, I lost my female albino to an R.I. just a couple months ago. I didn't have her long but she was one of my favorites

    Thanks, I know, I was shocked, I am neurotic when it comes to checking them over, a breeder friend of mine said that this time of year when we drop the temps, is when any underlying issues will rear their ugly heads.

    I have another large breeder female that developed stomatitis, thankfully I have antibiotics on hand, and after a course of injections & increased temps, she is back to her normal demonoid self.
