    BCC vs BCI
This is a topic that I knew nothing about yesterday and still don't know very much about it today! Everything I have read seems to give conflicting information. I guess my question is...What's the difference between the two? Is one more common than the other?

    Thanks!

All of the morphs that you see are from BCI. It took me so long to remember that! This website is one of the best when it comes to boa constrictors http://www.boa-constrictors.com/com/com.html

So that automatically makes mine a BCI? There are no morphs for BCC? That's interesting.

I think the BCCs are the boas like the Surinams ("True" Redtails) there might be morphs that I dion't know about but the common morphs like albino, hypo, etc are BCI. Yours is a BCI.

Okay Thanks! I have heard that one normally gets bigger than the other, but I can't nail down which is which. I know there will always be exceptions to this, but as a general rule of thumb which gets larger? Any insight on this?

BCC will generally get larger than BCI's. There are subtle differences in appearance in each subspecies such as the sadle peaks. BCC's are really the true redtails. A good BCC tail is hard to beat.
