Little blue fuzz ball (A. versicolor)
Re: Little blue fuzz ball (A. versicolor)
Awwwwwwwwww! ..... not. LOL But seriously gorgeous colors! Do they hold those colors into adulthood?? How do you get it to pose on the leaf so prettily?

I am by no means a spider person at all, however that one is really cool. I also want to know if they stay that color?

Actually no they are not the same color as adults. They go through a pretty neat color change. They are super pretty as adults too but not this color. And I got a good pic because I rehoused him/her today and I put him/her on the leaf :D That's the best time to get a good pic. They make beatiful tunnel webs and are generally in them. Which is where he/she was when I did the rehousing.

I just looked on wikipedia and they are awesome adults too. If I could get over my irrational fear of spiders I would want one.

Just looked up the adult colors, too. Seriously.....that aaaalmost temps me to want to keep one someday! Fascinating creature, even if it does give me the willies!

That is one of the most beautiful and colorful spiders I have ever seen! It almost makes me want to get over my fear of them!

Awww, what a nice little versicolor! I'm not really into keeping arborials, but now I'm starting to think that maybe I'll get one... or two... or three... you know how it goes :P
