    My Line of Faders
I have been working with the Fader gene for a few years now. I produced two males about five years ago (first two photos). I had one stolen, but was lucky enough to have the other breed and produce more. I have my first fader and pastel fader females up to size. I am not sure what to mix with them yet. Just thought I would share.

Wow. I love those pastel faders. What have you been thinking about mixing them with? How about a super pastel fader? I think just about every morph will look great with that mixed in. Sorry about that one being stolen though.

Congrats on such great looking BP's though!

I am thinking about breeding a Pastel Ivory to them.

Very nice looking snakes! They are looking like they would be great when paired with other morphs.

Nice animals Joe! That's the first time I've seen a picture of a fader that wasn't a pastel as well. Are there any characteristics to look for besides the flames?

    The Secret
Here is the secret... They look identical to granites. The thing about them is that they are genetic and they pass on. They have a spot on the back of the neck, dark eyes, blushing, and granite spots. I have another B grade Pastel Fader I will post when I finish cage cleaning,.

I was just thinking that the original "fader" doesn't look worthy of the name at all. It doesn't look "normal" for sure...but I'd not look at that snake and imagine that it would cause such a dramatic "fading" affect on other morphs. VERY cool! And very beautiful!

    I agree
I agree 100%. I just called them Granites and Pastel Granite, but it looks like everyone else calls them Fader Pastels. I figure if the two genes together is Fader Pastel then the snake making the wacky blushing should be called "Fader"... Now I just need to breed a "Fader" X "Fader" to see what happens.
