Didnt take long lol....

I just got my boy the other day(Normal Ball), Now i am picking up a beautiful corn for my son for $10 dollars off a breeder i know, Now that i started my son got hooked, hopefully once i learn more about everything after a few years i can start looking into Breeding but i wanna have more knowledge before i start that :), but everyone on forums keep posting baby pics and love them all.

I always say snakes r like potato chips.... Cant ever have just 1.....Welcome to the hobby I hope it is as enjoyable for you as it is to me

O i am in love with my ball, sooooo much, I cant get enough of him, i gotta hold myself back from holding him all the time, Ill just have to get more to rotate lol, Nah but yeah i have always wanted to get one just never could convince her, finally just took the wife aggro and bought him, she was pissed now she loves him too :)

If you just got your snake the other day, you really should let it settle into it's new home for at least a week (or longer) before you hold it, if not, your risking making your snake very stressed which can lead to it not eating properly.

I know, i have left him alone now for a few days, just saying i love him so much, hes been in his hide for a few days, problem is alot of times when i change his water, everymorning, he comes out and tries to come up my arm, seriously he loves coming out, he ate the first day, (I know they say wait a week) but like i said in another post i recieved his feed schedule and he hadnt eaten in a week or so, so i said hmm ill just see if he wants it, as soon as i put rat in, F/T, he nailed it right away. Believe me i dont wanna make him sick, it just seems like we connected right away.

That's great man! Well, as they say, each snake is different when it comes to how long it takes for them to settle in.

I love hearing hearing stories like yours where someone has wanted a snake for a long time and once they get one they couldn't be happier with it...I can totally relate to that, my experience was that way as well.

Yeah i am actually more excited then i have been in a long time.., actually just picked up a Classic corn for my son for $10, he is an adult male, breeder was making room for new babies in his rack so i got a good deal, he is a good looking boy(Not as cute as mine :P), and yes they are seperated.
