    Breeding Question
When pairing, should I take the hide out of the tank? I have them in a 55 gallon tank right now. Is this too big of an area? My only other enclosure for them is a 20 long visionary.

I would, but it also depends on how they act and how enclosed the 55 gallon is. If 3 sides are blocked off with something and there isn't too much traffic in the area, i would take it out.

But if they use the hide and still lock up, then keep it in there.

    Re: Breeding Question
Personally I would never keep BPs in a 55gal tank, way too big. If you have access to a 20L I think that would be a smart move. :gj: To the original question...I always remove hides during breeding season just because that is what all my mentor breeders taught me to do. I feel like a hide during breeding would be a hinderence, so I remove them.
