    So about what temperature do you usually keep the water for your snake?

    Mine's not directly over a heater and so it seems a little cold. Definitely not something she'd ever soak in.

    Doesn't really matter, clean water is water. Just make sure its not ice cold or hot and your fine. They shouldn't have to soak if the humidity is good and they don't have mites, so i wouldn't worry about water temperature!

    Not sure where not giving them cold water is a problem.

    I give my snakes COLD water daily and they love it. Drink it almost as soon as i replace it everyday

    And for my females im breeding i toss in ice cubes in their water bowls which causes the bowl to become cold in which they can wrap for cooling, since i do not cool them. Works very well for me
