why cant i post pictures?

I've been a member for almost a month now & I can't post any pictures in any threads. I can post them in a link but can't post them directly in the thread. I guess my HTML code is off & I don't have permission to post pictures. It can't be because I'm a new member because my g/f make an account yesterday & she can post pictures in her posts. It also can't be because I use my phone because she uses the same exact phone I do so what's goin on?

upload to photobucket or comparable site and the copy the image code "IMG" not the html code and paste here in the box

Have you asked your girlfriend to show you how she posted her pictures and done the exact same process?

Most of our members use Photobucket to store their pictures and then post them here. You want to copy this code from under the photo you want to share from Photobucket into your message here:

It will post like this:
