hi my spider ball weighs 202 grams today and he was 177 grams on 10-02-10.so in 5 weeks he gained 25 grams is that okay or should he be more..thanks

5 to 6 days and a rat pup.but my problem is the pet store only gets rat pups which seem not to be big enough or the next size up which is small rats which i think are to big..

Keep feeding that size, and more than one if you have to... Just know that the size of prey can be measured by the widest part of their body. You can try the next step up, chances are if its too big, he'll kill it but not eat it.

Actually Rat pups for his size is perfect. Rat pups i feed are 25g each whcih is an adult mouse.
Next step up from rat pups is weaned rats and that is way to big for him now.
This is what i do with my snakes.
Hatchling- 100g Hopper mice or Fuzzy rat
101g-200g Large Hoppers-sm adults or Lg Fuzzy Rat
201-500g Sm adults - adults or Rat pup
500g- 1000g Adults- Retired Breeder Or wean rat
1001g+ 2-3 Breeder Mice or 1 Small rat
