    a little worried about my snake
    so im new to snakes and i have been worried because he hasent droped a log and i have feed him twice in the past 2 weeks. just wondering if its normal? Was also wondering they dont eat their poo like dogs do they? one other question the last time i feed him (it was a med rat) he seemed like he was having trouble get his jaw hinged back in place am i feeding him a little to big of a rat? thanks for your help in advance

    Balls usually only go poop every month or so, sometimes longer. Without seeing your snake, it's hard to say if the prey item is the right size or not. They prey item should be just a little bigger than the fattest part of your snake.

    hes about 4 foot long

    Some ball pythons will go a few months with out pooping. I doubt yours is constipated. Also, no, they will not eat their poop.
