My live eater bp eats p/k but not f/t

i dont understand.. and the p/k i'm telling you about has been dead for 4 hours (long story) before i fed it to my bp and he still ate it, but never an f/t.

Pre kill has the live/fresh smell compared to freezer/thawed smell.

Its normal for live eaters to take pk

Maybe ur not getting them warm enough I use a hair dryer after I thaw them in hot water

This is not the problem when it comes to Live eaters. They can tell the difference from live or not by the temperature to smell.

have you tried to pre scent before offering f/t?

I have a big girl with the same problem. Have tried it all but if they are f/t she doesn't pay them any attention..... I starved her for almost two months and still no take. I gave in just a couple days ago and gave her a live rat pup. She took it without a problem and then while feeding response was still high I tried a f/t rat pup and she acted like there was nothing there..... Will keep trying but don't see her ever giving in....
