    tub temps vs glass temps
OK, my ball python is in a 20 g long all the temps are perfect according to the care sheets. My little red tail boa, which according to the caresheets, requires the same husbandry, is in a 40 q tub, the problem is my ambient temps are about 76-78 in the tub throughout the day in the tub, where i only have an UTH and towels on top to hold in heat, but they r not doing anything, but on my glass i have an UTH and a red bulb. U would think my little RTB would be on top of the UTH all day, but she sits the back corner of the warm side, how can i get the ambient temps up floor temps are fine, also do u think there is any reason she would just chill in the corner, im just about to duplicate my BP setup and put her in that so i can see her, i cant see her in the tub unless i get right up on the tub, also she has eaten twice since i got her about a week and a half ago, she is on FT rat fuzzies, shes only 5-7 weeks old. She is very active when i have her out, but not over active.
