    My BP wont eat?
Hi. On the 28th i fed my BP Mitch a 50gram pregnant mouse. Its been over a week and i keep trying to feed him but he doesn't seem interested. Is this normal? I also just changed his substrate to paper towel recently. I always find Mitch doing weird things like putting his head near the top of the tank, or tangling himself up in the wires for my rheostat probe. Any advice?

Your good bro, your still a long way off from panic mode, there could be a lot of things that caused this with a BP most likely its either last weeks meal was bigger then normal and hes just not interested yet. Hes getting ready for a shed or it could be that since you changed up his environment, he might just need some time to get used to it and hes pitching a little fit, but if thats the cause he should come around soon. Just keep his temps and humid. right. Also I wouldn't keep throwing the mouse at him .. take it away for a couple days, let everything calm down then try again. :D Thats what i would do at least

I would pinpoint it to a stress related situation or a husbandry issue. Changing anything in the environment can be stressful for a snake that lives in it for months and years at a time.

1 week is nothing to worry about, try in another 4 or 5 days and see if hes interested then.

Yeah, definatley just wait it out. Keep an eye on his weight if it goes for more than a couple weeks. If it begins to drop, than its time to panic. It's really nothing out of the ordinary and he's probably just a little stressed from the enclosure changes, or like stated above, still full from the prego mouse you fed him.
