    regarding aluminum tape
Hello - can aluminum tape be easily removed? I want to use it to attach the thermostat on a zoomed heat pad but mr snake is not mine. I am just snake sitting and the main owner does not use a thermostat.

I would just use a piece od regular scotch tape, as lond as the snake will not be coming into contact with it.

Yeah it's easy to remove, other weaker tapes wont hold up and duct tape leaves too much residue. Foil tape is pretty easy to remove, but does keep hold well!

yes foil tape is very easy to remove I usually can get it off in one piece. If only every tape worked as well.

Im really glad that this thread was made. I had asked a question about aluminum tape and now I know that it is the best tape to use for me to stick an Ultratherm heat pad to the bottom of my snake's enclosure.

Aluminum foil tape is VERY difficult to remove and leaves a TON of residue of what ever it came into contact with.

mykee you must be using a different brand then i am because the home depot stuff that i have works great. sticks relatively well, removes with ease, and yes it leaves residue but not nearly as much as most other forms of tape. after all, ALL forms of tape will leave some form of residue.
    what brand are you using?
