reducing patterns

hey everyone i havent benn on in a while ive been adding tho and will post nice pics shortly. Ive seen these reduced mojaves and i wondering how this is done i have a nice snake and i would like to really reduce her do i just get a reduced pattern normal?

Reducing patterns is usually done by selective breeding for reduced patterns. In other words if you have a mojave for example, breed it to another reduced pattern animal(normal, pastel ect) will usually(not always) produce some reduced pattern babies. Then breeding offsping back to parents to help reduce the pattern even further. It will take a few generations to refine and reduce the pattern but that is what most breeders do. Brian Gundy has done this with great success for his gold blush mojave line. Hope this helps

I think your typical reduced pattern ball python would do the opposite of what you want to do with the mojave mutation since the dark pattern areas are actually widened in what you usually see called "reduced" mojaves. I'm not really sure what you could try to breed to her to work towards getting mojaves with that sort of pattern. Maybe a normal with some nice flames and a wide pattern.
