How to feed BP multiple mice

So the place I usually get my feeders didn't get a rat shipment this week. My adult BP's feeding day was 3 days ago. I have been waiting for the store to get in the proper sized meal for my boy, but I am not waiting anymore. I have several adult mice in the freezer, but they are obviously too small to make a proper meal. Would you feed 1 and keep waiting for the rat or would you offer more to satiate him until next feeding?

I have never tried more than one in a sitting before so I guess question #2 would be how do you do it?

I'd just offer a full meal of mice and wait til the next regular feeding time before offering a rat. With f/t, you can just thaw them out and then lay them in the cage. If he likes to nail the f/t offering, let him nail the first one...then while he's busy "strangling" it, just lay the others beside...close up the cage, and leave him alone. He'll find them.

When offering multiple live prey...you have to wait until the snake has full swallowed the first and gone back into "hunt mode" before offering the second.

Awesome! Thanks so much. I am going to start ordering rats online because of this little hiccup. Normally the place up here is reliable so I don't buy more rats than I need (mostly for my wife's benefit), but my snakes are doing so well I don't want them to suffer because of this...

When we had to feed our male multiple mice we just placed them in the tank and made sure they did get him, but those were live. For f/t you'll probably need to do a zombie dance for one and then wait til he eats it then do a zombie dance for another. If he doesn't require a dance from his rats/mice then just place them in the tank.

Yeah most of my snakes eat numerous rats at one feeding since mediums are hard to come by. Just put the first one in there, wait till they get it, then go ahead and do each one after that the same way, waiting until he swallows the previous one.

I was watching snakebytes tv, it was a feeding episode. The guy who was feeding the corn snakes would give them one pinky, wait for it to start constricting and stick the second mouse in the coils as it was coiling around the first. Maybe that would work?

Just heat up 2-3 mice and keep feeding til he won't eat anymore

I do this, I used to feed 2 to 3 adult mice until I just switched to rats last week.

I just thawed them, did the zombie dance, had her strike... then repeated the zombie dance again for the subsequent ones.

I tried the multiple "Zombie Dance" technique and he ate 2. I thawed 3 so the one left over I offered to my garbage disposal/growing female BP and as expected she hit it instantly. Thanks again for the help.

Hopefully your BP will switch back to rats with no problems. This situation happened to me with my first girl a few years ago. My feeder suppliers didn't have rats so I gave her mice. After that she would never take rats again. Very frustrating.
