Window replacement in the snake room
In my apartment they are replacing all the windows in the next 2 weeks. In my bedroom are all my snakes and a window. I move all my snakes to the side furthest away from the window so when they come and do it, they will be at opposite en of the room. Should I be doin anything else to help make this easier for them and my snakes? I just don't want the snakes to get cold. Where I live, winter is on it's way, temps outside are about 5 degrees Celsius in the day.

If i were you, I'd move them out of the room entirely, both because of the cold and because of the workers. Perhaps into a bathroom or closet? Something secured behind a door.

I have a small storage room I could move them to. I can then change the doorknob so it locks. Only thing is I'd have to run extension cord to that room bit that's not a huge deal.

So ya I'm going to put them in the storage room. I made enough room in there for the tanks and put in a stronger bulb in the room for some added heat. I will be transferring them today until my windows are replaced. And I am goin to lock the door to keep anyone from goin in.

Good plan! I'm sure it'll go good then. Hopefully the new windows are better ones too so all the fuss is worth it!

Just have to move my boa tank in after supper and that will be it! Hooked up my 80 watt heat panel for adder temp in the room, as it has no baseboard heater.

Got them all moves in. Room temp around 80f. Now that I look at it, should have done this before!
