    hi everyone...i am a wannabe bp hobbyist.
    i am trying to research everything about bps for quite some time now...i believe they are perfect pets for our climate here in the philippines...i have also been looking for some bps for sale here. i have come across one interesting ad saying that his bp is a normalxyellowbelly.i dont have the eye for distinguishing a normal to a yellowbelly.unfortunately i cant attach the pic. if there is anyone willing to help me i can email the pic to you. just reply to this thread with your email add.tnx!!! hope you could help me with this!!!!:confused:

    There's a sticky about how to attach a picture to a post I think..

    You should ask if it's a yellowbelly or a normal. It's one or the other. There isn't a "het yellowbelly" that looks like a normal.

    Yellowbelly is "het" for ivory, so it's a hit or miss morph like pastel. When you breed normal to yellowbelly, you get some yellowbelly babies and some normal babies. The ones that look normal are NORMAL, not carriers for yellowbelly.

    I'd say I'd look at the pictures for you, but I can't "see" yellowbelly either. I have a blind spot for them it seems, and I've been shown the snakes in person with a lengthy explanation. So you're not alone!

    I'm not a yellowbelly expert but as wolfy said there is no "Het for Yellowbelly", Yellowbelly itself is a het gene for Ivory.
    BP due make perfect pets! That's great you are considering getting one.

    I'm sure someone who knows more than I due about identifying YB will help you out. Just wanted to say :welcome:
