    White spots
    Hello everyone! I was looking at Gene the other day and I noticed that he has several little white spots on his back. There's one or two in his neck/head area then a couple more further down his back. Any idea what this is? Should I be concerned?

    I wouldn't be concerned.
    My BP has a couple small white spots also.
    They could be scars, but most likely just part of their pattern.
    However normally large areas of white are scars from burns, feeding wounds...what not.

    Ocasionally scales will lose their color during sheds. Sometimes the color will come back after a few sheds and sometimes it won't. I have seen photos before of a BP that lost all of it's color except for the black during a shed. A few sheds later, it had returned...
