Eating this mouse weird... Do I need to intervene?
So my snake pretty much bent the mouse in half and is trying to eat it as a mouse ball... is that dangerous? I don't think it will fit, but I'm worried that it will start to and cause an issue.
Re: Eating this mouse weird... Do I need to intervene?
Ive had them do this before it is nothing to be worried about. A snake can get it out if they want to, I would say that you are feeding something to small if it can get away with this. Prey that is large enough for the snake can only go down head first.

Your snake is realigning it's jaws after eating the meal.

My baby boy used to do that too when I didn't have any prey items big enough for him. Don't worry about them hurting themselves in eating the mouse folded sideways, they aren't going to keep going if they can't do it.
and as was said, they were just realinging their jaws, since they can do all that crazy stuff with their jaws while they eat it can put them a bit out of whack until they get them back. :P
