female having mood swings
my normally docile female turned into the wicked witch of the west today. The town I live in was under a tornado warning today so I put all my snakes into tubs so that if a tornado did hit I could just grab them & run to the basement. When I put her in the tub she wasn't acting aggressive. I had to go to work before the warning was up so I told me g/f to put her back when it was over. I guewss when she tried to take her out of the tub she went back into strike position & was hissing like crazy so I told my g/f to leave her in there & ill get her out when I got off work. I thought she was just over reacting but I found out for myself she wasn't. When I tried to get the snake out she tagged me & was hissing like crazy. I had to have my g/f distract her while I grabbed her from behind. She is gravid & she acts just like my g/f when she was pregnant. One minute she would be fine the next she wanted to draw blood. Could my snake sudden aggression be because she's gravid? She is wrapping around her water bowl & I read online that's a sign she's about to lay or something like that.
