    Idb? Ibd?
    So I have seen some mention of this lately and I tried to do a search for it, but the search engine wont let me use a word that short and brings up no results. So is it IDB or IBD and what is it?

    IBD

    Inclusion Body Disease

    THIS is the Wiki link on it, I am not sure how accurate it is, though. Hopefully someone with more experience will come along. :)

    IBD = inclusion body disease

    Horrible fatal neurologic disorder of boas & pythons, thought by many people to be viral as the snake's cells show inclusion bodies under the microscope. Inclusion bodies go with viral infections in other vertebrates. I am a colubrid owner mostly and they don't get it, although it's thought they can carry it, so this about exhausts my knowledge.

    The snake cannot move properly, cannot right itself, stops feeding, wastes away and dies.

    That's a link to someone who lost snakes to the disease.

    I hope this info helps.
