Female Bee finally ate on her own!!!
I have been working with this little female Bee since early/mid August! After quite a few assist feeds she finally ate all by herself last night!!! I was so stoked! This girl has been a TON of work, but hopefully she is on the right track now!

A few more recent shots of her!

    Very nice looking girl,

Very happy with you that she has started feeding on her own.... I believe that from here on in you will have many happy hours with her..

    Congrats on getting her!!!

I also think she was worth the effort...

Assist feeding can be a trial of one's patience with some animals for sure. I have had several cases over the years that took some work to get them going. I have to say that every animal I have assisted has become a great feeder after they finally start on their own.

It Sure can be! I never thought she was going to start eating on her own! Hopefully she's a good eater from here on out. :please:

Yes! It is a Target scale! It works great and goes over 3200 grams. It can be a pain to get the bigger ones to stay on it though!

Haha go back to target and get a 2 dollar bowl. Tare the bowl out and put the big snakes in it to weigh.
Little scale was pretty cheap and works GREAT

Just another quick update. My Bee had her first shed (with us) over the weekend and also accepted her second meal on her own! We are extremely pleased with this!

Here is her latest pic fresh out of shed!
