Today was just horrible....

So...this has nothing to do with snakes....but I need to vent....I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution 9. Ive done alot of work too, and I ordered a $3500 turbo kit for cause of couse I wasnt happy with 500awhp..Well its been a year since I order it as of yesterday...It was a a custom kit, so I gave the benifit of the dought...big mistake. He had been BS-ing me since March when it was supposed to be done by last Jan. I called them yesterday and thier phones are off. So I called the AZ police cause I wanted to file a report..The officer called me back today, come to find out last thurs day they filed bankruptcy and told me im going to have to get a attorney. Soo Idk what I'm going to do...they many other people on many different forums getting f-ed like me..so some of use are trying to get as many as we can together to try to split the fees...I dont know what else to do..I dont have $2k for a attorney...and on top of that...you know what kind of morphs I could have bout with $3500!?....ugh...:(

And it's even worse with the car. My cars are my babies and I spend a ton of money on them. I can't even imagine getting screwed over because I was trying to improve my car! I'm really sorry for you man. :(

I can't offer any legal advice, maybe someone else can chime in.

To make matters worse....It not like I can drive the car...because it was only suppose to be 3months turn around I sold the turbo kit that was on it...So I have a veeeery expensive paperweight sitting in my garage..lol

Sorry for your ordeal, but you should not have paid in full up front, unless the kit was ready to ship. I would have paid as the work progressed.

Did you pay by credit card? If so, contact the CC company and see if there's anything they can do. Many times, the CC company will help.

Was with my debit. And from now on ill never pay in full....they were a biiiig company and have beend around for 8 years, really didnt think it would come to this.

Whats the name of the company???bc there is no way it will take a year to build a custom turbo kit for the evo. Turn around time for that is no more than a few weeks at most, btw im currently building a 4g63 awd mirage 6262 powered :)

yea recently we had a guy who was going to build a deck long story short he didnt do any building and got $7000 out of us. its baisically an organized scammer because we found out he has done it to dozens of people. :rage: But he just recently got put in Jail so HA:banana:!

It was PeakBoost. Im sure youve heard of them, there pretty big...or should i say....were. Also in your avatar, what glock is that? I have a G27.

yea i know a few people that run peakboost turbo kits on there car. Shame what happened to you man. Any word on whats going on yet or now? and also its a g19 :gj:
