First reptile show! And new crestie :D

HOLY COW! My boyfriend and I went to our first show this last weekend (NWCBE) and I had a FANTASTIC time! I know it's not the biggest, but for a first show I was satisfied, and we arrived late enough that it wasn't crowded :) and it was so freaking cool to see all the animals I've only ever seen pictures of. Pieds are a lot more impressive in person

Anyway, I got my first crestie! My boyfriend did too, but I haven't gotten pics yet. I wanted to get a dark/high contrast harly, but I couldn't find any females, and I just fell in love with this little creamy pin girl. So I picked her up from Black Ink Reptiles. Julie is fantastic, and settled my panic when I saw some black stuff on Uni (turned out to just be dried food, I'd thought I'd caused a fungus in the first day of having her :rolleyes: )

Named her Uni, and I think I'll follow the pattern of naming my cresties after sushi/sashimi meats :D funny names (and there WILL be more cresties, balls are my favorite still, but these guys are freaking adorable)

No matter how many crestie pics I see, I can't get over how adorable they are :D She really has a sweet face and nice colors!! Congrats!!

I just got my first crestie recently too, never was a gecko person til I met one of these guys in person :D

Haha, I know what you mean. It was hilarious when my boyfriend picked up a crestie at the show and got to look at everything, looked at me and was like "Could you show me how to take care of these? I think I'm gonna get one..." When he'd vehemently told me we should hold off on more reptiles just before we got there xD

I know that feeling! Let's hold off and not get anymore! My wife and I ended up with 5 Cresties in two days at the Reptile Expo in Puyallup. Plus, got info and now have a Black Pastel BP and am getting her a Lechie in January! Since I gotta wait until it's old enough! LOL! Congrats on the Crestie.....
