    How can i do this?
I have 1 pvc setup for my 1 boa with a herpstat, and a glass exo terra with Zilla 1000. On this coming weekend, ill be picking up my new pastel. I have a tub and heat pad for it, is there any way i can hook up this tub to one of my other tstats on my other tanks? I kinda thought about it, dont really know how i would do it. If i have to buy another tstat i will, but trying to work around that. Hope this makes sense to everyone..

There is a way to do it, but the safest way would be to use a separate T-stat for the tub since your enclosures are all different types, sizes, and materials. Piggy backing one off of another might mean having to make adjustments to the one with a snake already living in it. It is easier to do when you are using 2 identical enclosures. Same size, same heating sources, same type and thickness substrate, etc...

I see what your saying. I wanted to switch my exo terra to a tub, maybe i will buy the same tub as i already do, then all will be same. Only thing is, the ball in the exo terra is 130 grams, and the tub i bought to use for my new snake is 50 quarts, will that be too big for her?

I would say use something like a 15 quart tub until they reach about 500-600 grams, then move them into 32 quart tubs. These will last a while. I wouldn't use the 41-50 quart size until they get at least 3+ feet and around 1500+ grams...

What about this... What if I find a tub about a foot wide by two feet long, buy 2, then get some flexwatt laid out flat and place the two tubs so they are on the flexwatt a third of the way? So each tub is same size and on the same tape, third of the tub on it.

You can do that too. It would probably be cheaper as well...

So if I go that way I explained, would I put the probe in one tub, and go from there counting on the other tub to be at the same temp? They should be pretty much identical inside and out except for the snakes being diffrent size.

Also doing it this way there will no space between the flexwatt and the tubs. They will be sitting right ontop of the flexwatt. Is that ok like that?
