    i have had my ball python for about two months now just need some help when would i know to upgrade her food right now i feed her one mouse once evry 7 days

    How old is your snake and how much does it weigh? It's really hard to say what you should feed and how often without this information.

    I find that a good rule of thumb is to keep the food item around the same girth as your snake, and every 7 days is pretty reasonable, some folks will go around every 5 days for younger snakes, and up to about 10 days for larger snakes.
    Personally i feed my larger BP's once a week, and my hatchlings every 5 days or so. Hope this helps!! :)

    i dont know the age of the snake if i had to quess she has to be around 3-4 months and i have to go and get a scale to find out the weight
