New Baby C. Lepidus from WC Female
Ok as promised here is a photo of one of the five new baby Mottled Rock Rattlesnakes. Thes guys were born here the middle of September from a WC female found July 27th in Edwards county,Tx.

There is a funny story with these guys so try to follow me. Last year on July 24th
I collected a female C. lepidus from Edwards county.

On the night of the first regular season COWBOYS game she had one baby.http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...epidusF023.jpg

This year I went back to Edwards county as I do four-five times a year, but I went the same weekend as the year before July 27th to be exact. This time I collected four C. lepidus. On of which is this female:

Ok so I was vending a show in San Antonio opening weekend of the football season. I left the show early to make my five hour drive home so I could watch the COWBOYS game, and found five baby Lepidus when I got home. The mother is the female above. Here is a photo of one of the babies. All babies look almost identical.

So I found these snakes on the same road, on the same weekends a year apart, and they both had babies the same day a year apart. I got a kick out of it!!!!
