    Super escape
Last night I went downstairs to get a new collar for my buldog, I knew there was one on the bakers rack that has been there for months. I found the collar and what I thought was a rubber snake. I distinctly thought "OH cool that looks just like that pattern on the Nelsons Milk snake. I grabed it and it slid out of my hands " wow that rubber was slick" "Oh crap thats not a rubber snake that is the Nelsons." as he turned his head and flicked his toung at me. It didnt scare me or anything surprisingly, I should have jumped or somthing. I called my wife down to see him then took him back upstairs and checked out his enclosure. The door was open just over a quarter of an inch, just enough for him to fit through. Now the scarry part is we have 3 cats and 2 dogs and this snake traveled through two rooms and down the stairs then up onto the bakers rack to get where he was and not a one of the other animals saw him. Glad I found him before I knoticed him missing I woulsd have torn that house apart and never looked ther for him.
Just had to tell this story thought it was funnyhttp://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3976986_n.jpg

He almost made it. The rack he was on is next to the opening to the kitchen. A few more slithers and he would have made it to the freezer. :)

They will get to places where you would almost bet they could NEVER get to. I think colubrids are more adventurous and will travel much further than ball pythons. I'm glad you were able to find a lost snake before you knew it was lost.

    Congrats!
