    paint to use on rack?
    ok im building a rack out of 1" particle board and was wondering what i could use to paint or seal it that wont hurt the snakes. thanks for the help

    Why not just get melamine wood and call it a day? But if not water based not oil based is what you want. I used a sealant and paint on mine.

    i would use melamine but i have the particle board just laying around. thanks for the help

    you could use just about any type of paint Although lacquer doesn’t take to well to moisture. But why don’t you buy some laminate and just contact cement it to the particle board you already have. It will stand up much better to bins being pulled across it over and over again, and then you can just use some iron on edge banding to finish the face.
