    couple quick questions
When you start pairing to you bring the male into the females tub? or the other way around? Or do you take both into a brand new tub?

Also do you leave anything in there while pairing? (water dishes, hides)

If you are only breeding one pair and you witness a lock, do you continue to pair or call it good?

Thanks again for the info :D

I do it opposite.....I find the males tend to check out the tub first, before checking out the female. If I put her in, he just checks HER out, even if she's checking out the tub:)

I remove water bowls and put males with females for up to 4 days at most, and only that long if they are locking up and it took them a few days to do so.

Then they get 2-3 days rest, offered food during that rest, and then back together.

So why keep pairing if you witness locking? You all have already told me snake hold their sperm a lot longer then what I though which was 20 days, so if they can hold sperm for years, then why keep pairing if you witness locking?

Because, there's no guarantee that all those sperms are Spartacus. Some or all could be duds...
