First Blood Python, and a question
We picked up our first Red Blood Python today at Tinley Park. She is in a tub in our hotel room right now. So far, she's been great. We've been doing a ton of research and reading the forum, but we've noticed she's doing something that we haven't seen mentioned anywhere. In her tub, we have aspen laid down. She is completely burrowed in it. Is that normal for a blood to do? She's also got a big leafy hide in there as well along with a water dish.

    Thanks!

my baby hides all the time, she eats great, she loves to look around while being held, but she also likes to strech out under the the newspaper in her tub.

mine has repti bark and all he does is burrow he wont, even use hides he would rather get under , the water dish. When u clean your cage next time you might to get reptibark somthing that does better with humidty, just speaking from my own mistakes not trying to sound like a know it all. And babies realy thrive on humidty.

We planned on doing that, actually. Newspaper seems to be popular with bloods, too. Thanks for the advice! :)
