    just a wondering I have a BCI Ive had him for 10 days now he was being feed 1 large rat once a week and I wanted to put him on a 2 large rat every two week period is that ok or too long?? and secondly how long does it take them to poo cause I haven't seen any???

    One feeding every two weeks is fine for a BCI. I actually feed mine once every three weeks, and he's very filled out and healthy.

    Agreed. For yearlings and older, feeding one rodent every 3 weeks is the way to go. No more than one large rat per feeding, though, or you risk a regurge.

    As for defecation, it depends on the individual (and how often it's fed). Young boas usually go every week or so, but when they're older they can hold it for up to a month, sometimes longer. In your case, if you get two meals into him and he still hasn't gone, I would start worrying about constipation (fairly common with the stress of rehoming, especially if he was shipped to you).
