How do you handle your snakes?
Before I handel any of my snakes, I make sure they know I'm there first. They usually know because they feel it when I open of their lid or accidentally bump their table. Then I usallu pick them up mid body and hold them with both hands, supporting their delacate spines.

    You?

I reach in and pick mine up :P, unless they give me a clear sign that they do not want to be handled.

First I put on my leather coat, then I put on my welding gloves, I then put on my chemist face shield, then I get out my 4 foot hook as well as my 4 foot tongs. I slowly open the enclosure, waiting about 3 minutes before I open it all the way. I then reach in and pin it to the floor of the enclosure with my hook. I then grab it with the tongs. I then get the snake out of the enclosure and start sweating. This is the dangerous part. Anything can happen now.

This is how I take my Ball Pythons out of their enclosures.;)

I usually punch mine in the face to let em know who's boss, then grab em by the tail and toss em around a bit before I cuddle them and make them promise to say they just fell down the stairs.

Really, I just open up the tub, lift up the hide, pick her up in the middle somewhere, and prop her up on my shoulders or close to my chest for warmth. If she's too active or seems aggressive it usually means she's hungry, in which case I don't handle her at all, but instead carefully prepare a gourmet meal of rodent. Never been bitten, and she's not terribly shy so I figure I'm not doing it wrong.
