Lifespan of flexwatt tape

Does anyone know what sort of lifespan one can expect to get out of the flexwatt like what is used in the RBI racks that Rich sells.

I am just curious. Is it years?? I am new to racks.

I heard it lasts a lifetime.

Unless damaged there should be no reason for it to stop working.
