    how exactly are they made?
    albino x spider 100% het albino? or are one of the offspring needed to breed back?

    Yes that would work! :)

    You could even have 100% het albino, spider x 100% het albino and possibly get an albino spider, you would just have less chance to get albino spider.

    You wouldn't really need the offspring if both the parents are het albino

    That's correct. I produced two male spiders het for albino this season, I'm gonna feed the heck out of both and see who puts on the most weight, then sell the other. I can't wait to breed them this season! Of course they have to keep eating since they only weigh 160 grams. But mom has already put back all her weight.:gj:

    Both need to carry the albino gene (het or homozygous) and one needs to carry the spider gene.

    Goodluck :gj: Hopefully you can get those boys eating enough, I'm sure that's possible you just might have a late season, no harm in that though especially when the outcome is an albino spider. :D
