    Pattern on my pied is changing as he grows
    Well, when I first bought my piebald his pattern sort of faded into the white - without any borders.

    Now he is beginning to get clearly defined borders.

    Is it normal for piebalds to do this? Thanks

    Yep pied's change color and will even get these little black freckles in their white. :D all perfectly normal

    Yes, they change drastically from the time they are born, they look like completely different snakes as adults.

    All three of mine did, and they also tend to brown out quite a bit as well. My female that was a bright orange is almost completely brown now at eight months old.
