Hi everyone

Hey everybody! I've made a few posts on the forum, but I've yet to actually introduce myself. My name is Rick, and I live with my girlfriend in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm originally from Alaska, though. Big difference between the two!

I have my newly adopted BP Gene (Named after Gene Simmons, because the snake's tongue is extremely long and it reminded my girlfriend's mom of Simmons), a labradoodle named Bella, she's about three years old, and a slightly overweight cat named Phantom, who is about 4 and a half years old.

I've wanted a snake for a long time, and just recently the opportunity presented itself for us to get one! I'm very excited. These forums have been amazing and the people here are so willing to help and advise, I'm amazed! Thanks everyone!
