    please help: trouble with temps
hi everyone, as you know winter is approaching and im having trouble with m temps. usually i have my UTH hooked up to a t-stat for the warm side then i have a red light on the cool side that 60 watts the temps are dropping everyday, today in the day time there going down to 74, i need a solution! my humidity i s about always 50 % , when i set up my tank everyone said to put the red light on the cool side so i did but i don't think the UTH is really getting air temps any higher. I measure the UTH and cool side air temp with a digital thermometer. please help

I'm guessing this is a tank setup? Do you have the top covered in tin-foil? You can cut out a hole for the light.

Other than that, you could add another UTH on the other side. I did that with my boa before I had my reptile room.
