Loose skin - oncoming shed or something else?
Hey folks! I've noticed that my snake's skin is kind of loose in places, which to me seems rather odd. His previous owner said he might shed soon, but I'm still concerned. I've been trying to keep the humidity in his tank up by making sure his water dish (which is pretty big) has plenty of water, and I've also been keeping a damp rag on the screen over the hot side of the tank. I'm almost sure he's going to shed soon based on what she said, but I still wonder.
