BP is restless!

Hi. My baby BP Mitch is scaling the tub, trying to escape maybe? He shouldn't be hungry, i fed him Friday night, 2 f/t jumpers or skippers or whatever they are called. His temps are 73.2 / 84.6. Is he just checking out his new tank? Im nervous. I know restless BP's usually mean hunger, but i dont think he is hungry if he just ate 3 days ago.

he could still be hungry, I have one that would eat EVERY day if I let her. how much does he weigh? maybe it's time to move up to a larger meal or he could just be checking out his new digs.

Well, it is probably stress. Your temps are too cold for one. You should aim for 80-83 cool side, and 90 to 93 warm side. What kind of hides does he have?
And they are called hoppers fyi.

no idea of weight... i dont have a food scale. hes probably a foot and a half long. at petco the weirdo reptile nerd said they are being fed fuzzies. But i was informed that petstores dont know anything .

I agree, he's too cold. Swing has the right temps.

And im trying to heat it up in there. i cant use the bulbs in his tub... and i belive my 10-20 gal UTH is too small.

I agree it is too cold and in the pic I dont see a hide. Give it a hide somewhere in the middle. Your BP will do much better with a hide.

i have 2 hides, identical, one on the hot side, one on the cold. Now he is in his hot hide.

Good. your 10-20 uht is not to small for awhile he will be happy in that for about a year depending on how much you feed him and how fast he grows.

ok neat. im trying not to over feed him. so im thinking... Thursday will be his first adult mouse.
