    lazy lesser?
So everytime i feed my lesser, she ignores the frozen thaw food when i do the zombie dance on the mice/ratpups. So i leave her alone with the mice/rat pup and then she eats it. She doesnt constrict or strike. Does anyone have ball pythons that are this lazy? lol

no but i have heard of this happening idk why but my Cinnamon for a short time was trying to eat live mice with out constricting them i think he realized it wasnt workin out and he started constricting and my female spider at first had some issues with aiming while striking cuz of her wobble so i would just pre kill the mice but now she has amazing aim she suprised me the other day by taking the fight from one side of her tub all the way to the other side she didnt strike and come back or strike and stay she (in football terms) tackled through her opponent lol it was awesome to see that from her

i guess some snakes just prefer to eat lazy like that but maybe he/she will change their ways and eat like they should

My mojo will only eat if I lay the F/T mouse right outside her hide and then go away. All of my others will strike the second they see the dangling food.

My Mojave girl is like that. I have to leave the thawed rat in her cage and she will eat it when night comes.

my male carpet python eats that way, fed him frozen thawed since the day i got him, then one day he realized its dead already, and stopped. he just waits for me to put it in there and eats it overnight

My Lesser girl is doing that too! I try the "zombie dance", get nothing, and then I leave it, she slowly goes over to it and just eats it down without even striking it or coiling it.

When I had her on live, she was doing her normal strike and constrict, but not since she moved to frozen...
